UNIT 13B ARIZONA STRIP ARCHERY DEER TAGS

Let’s start out by covering Unit 13B on the Arizona Strip. The first mule deer hunt that takes place in Unit 13B on the Arizona Strip is the early season archery mule deer hunt that begins on August 23 and runs through September 12. There are a total of 25 tags available for this premium Arizona Strip archery deer hunt for the year 2013. The competition is very fierce for these limited Arizona Strip deer tags and non residents must have the maximum amount of bonus points possible to have a chance of drawing one of these tags. Resident Arizona mule deer hunters can draw these Arizona Strip deer tags a lot easier than a non resident but with only 25 tags being available they are still a very hard mule deer tag to come by. The chance of getting one of these Unit13B archery deer tags is very slim but the lucky mule deer hunters who are fortunate enought to draw them are going to have the opportunity of hunting some of the biggest velvet mule deer bucks in the world.

UNIT 13B ARIZONA STRIP RIFLE DEER TAGS

The next mule deer hunt that is available in Arizona Strip Unit 13B is the rifle mule deer hunt that starts on November 8 and runs through November 17. There are a total of 70 tags available for the unit 13B rifle mule deer hunt for the 2013 Arizona hunting season. This unit 13B rifle tag is the premier rifle mule deer hunt in the state of Arizona and the odds of actually drawing one of these tags is extremely low. Residents must have the maximum amount of Arizona Deer bonus points to have the slightest chance of drawing one of these Arizona Strip Deer tags. Even if you have the maximum amount of bonus points as a non resident it still does not guarantee that you will be drawing one of these tags anytime soon. Arizona residents have a better chance of drawing one of these Unit 13B rifle tags versus a non resident but, the odds are still very slim of drawing one of these trophy mule deer tags on the Arizona Strip. That being said though, you need to apply, apply, apply, especially if you are a resident because you will have absolutely zero chance of drawing one of the Arizona Strip Deer tags if your name isn’t even in the hat. Somebody has to draw these Unit 13B tags and it might as well be you this year. Every year we usually talk to at least one lucky resident mule deer hunter that drew this Unit 13B tag with zero points, talk about lucky. We have also talked to a few resident mule deer hunters that have even drawn this tag consecutively on back to back years. Wouldn’t that be something? Apply, apply, apply, for these unit 13B mule deer tags and who knows, the next giant Arizona strip bucks that we add to the Arizona Strip Guides website just might be yours.

UNIT 13A ARIZONA STRIP ARCHERY DEER TAGS

The first mule deer hunt of the season that is offered in Unit 13A on the Arizona Strip for the 2013 Arizona hunting season is the early season archery mule deer hunt in Unit 13A that begins on August 23 and runs through September 12. There are a total of 30 archery mule deer tags available for the Unit 13A archery deer hunt during the 2013 Arizona mule deer hunting season. This tag is also extremely sought after by trophy mule deer hunters from all around the world. A non resident mule deer hunter also needs to have the maximum amount of bonus points for Arizona deer to even have a chance of actually being able to draw this premium Arizona Strip archery deer tag. A resident Arizona Strip mule deer hunter will have a better chance of drawing this Unit 13A archery deer tag but with only 30 tags total being available for this hunt the odds are still pretty low. Do not be afraid to apply for this tag though, somebody has got to draw it and it might as well be you this year. If you do happen to draw this Unit 13A archery deer tag you will be the very proud owner of one of the greatest archery mule deer tags that is available in the world today.

UNIT 13A ARIZONA STRIP RIFLE DEER TAGS

The second mule deer hunt that is offered in Arizona Strip Unit 13A is the Unit 13A rifle mule deer hunt that begins on November 15 and runs through the 24. There are a total of 60 tags available for the Arizona Strip Unit 13A rifle deer hunt in 2013. Along with Unit 13B, this Unit 13A rifle mule deer hunt is one of the premier trophy mule deer hunts available in the great state of Arizona if not the world. As we have already said several times throughout this post, the competition and demand for these Arizona Strip tags is extremely fierce and any non resident mule deer hunter that is interested in applying for any of the mule deer tags that are available on the Arizona Strip needs to have the maximum amount of bonus points for Arizona deer to have any chance whatsoever of drawing Arizona Strip deer tags. The Unit 13A Arizona Strip rifle deer hunt starts a week later than the Unit 13B rifle hunt and the Unit 13A hunt generally offers hunters better rutting activity during their hunt. This is not always the case due to moisture and weather conditions being different from year to year but most trophy mule deer hunters tend to have a little better rutting mule deer activity while hunting trophy Arizona strip bucks in Arizona Strip Unit 13A.
